Syd's Demo Salvage (SDS) is a local business which deconstructs small and large buildings from various eras salvaging an array of quality fixtures, appliances, fine mouldings, cabinets, windows, doors, floors as well as basic construction materials, bricks and shrubbery. We also subcontract with larger demolition firms where large amounts of unique flooring and furniture building lumber is salvaged that might otherwise end up in the landfill.
Purchasing used materials is the lightest footprint that a consumer can instill on the planet, and is the ethical way to respect the natural "resources" and old growth timber which is needed for species habitat and to avoid species extinction. For more informaiton, please visit www.carmanah.ca
